Job Board commercials for the Super Bowl 2/7/2010

It's expected that the "Big Three Two" job boards will be out in full force today for the Super Bowl.

What Super Bowl ads will Career Builder and Monster have in store for us? Well, it turns out we don't really have to wait for the game. The ads are below, which is your favorite?

Although Monster has only given out a teaser, I found this official Youtube channel with the complete 45 second ad of the "Fiddling Beaver" commercial.

This ad will apparently be followed by lots of web marketing support and even social media. The Fiddly Beaver has a Fiddle a Friend website and a Twitter account: @BusyFiddler

Monster is also again sponsoring the "Director of Fandemonium" NFL fake job position.

Career Builder will never be able to top they widely popular "Yeknom Inc" monkey ads. I'll repost those here for the fun of it. Too bad CB caved to the pressure pull the ads. They haven't produced anything as good since.

Here are this years ads from Career Builder. They come to us as user-submitted commercials. Not bad at all, it's hard to live up after that previous success though. See background information and vote here: http://www.careerbuilder.com/tv/.

Side note: Does everyone remember how amazing (as a form of validation) it was when you started seeing website urls advertised during the Super Bowl? It's going to be interesting Imagine how many Twitter @address we'll see during today's game.

Nothing from Indeed.com or Simplyhired.com but I'm linking to them here because I think they are making the right choice. While Monster and Career Builder entertain us, it's still best to spend available ad dollars marketing online where the highest return on investment exists.

Google, on the other hand, is likely to surprise with it's first Super Bowl commercial. CEO Eric Schmidt tweeted last night that some feel "Hell has frozen over" and we should watch for the ads in the third quarter of the game.
